ANDAR Engineering Solutions is the largest engineering Company in the South Canterbury region, specialising in general engineering, plant maintenance, fabrication, sheet metal work and precision machining.   Covering approximately 3000m2 of floor space, we have the most advanced engineering workshop in the region, with 30 highly skilled and experienced tradesmen.

The Engineering Solutions workshop operates a range of late model CNC machines and CAD/CAM software complementing the traditional with highly accurate three-dimensional production and jobbing work. CNC lathes, NC machining centres (4th axis), numerous manual lathes (up to 5m lathe beds) and universal and vertical milling machines. This provides us fast turnaround on one-off jobs and batch production.

Our machining services have developed a reputation for specialised precision machining with a large range of equipment unique in South Canterbury.  The fully equipped fabrication workshop consists of MIG, TIG and Arc welders with ticketed welders available to suit most requirements. The sheet metal workshop specialises in both ferrous and stainless steel fabrication and utilises the latest equipment, including high definition NC plasma profile cutting, full NC brake press and 3.7m guillotine.  The aid of 4 overhead gantry cranes from 3-5tonne lifting capacity enables handling a wide variety of fabrication work.

ANDAR Engineering Solutions specialises in design and build projects with an on-site design and drawing office, employing a fully qualified mechanical engineer and a draughting team equipped with AutoCAD and Solid Works 3D modelling packages. This capability extends into detailed process engineering with chemical engineers and dedicated project engineers rounding out the company’s contributions to complete turnkey projects.   Ongoing technical advice on processing, maintenance and operational issues is provided. A full range of spare parts is available to ensure optimum process performance.
